Kevin Shaw | General Counsel

Mr. Shaw has 20 years of experience advising in the areas of corporate, intellectual property, and general business law within the biotech, pharma, and life sciences industries. Before joining NextCure, he served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Precigen, Inc., a publicly traded clinical stage cell and gene therapy company. Prior to joining Precigen, Mr. Shaw practiced law at the multinational law firm Hogan Lovells where he represented both large and small life sciences clients in a range of intellectual property and transactional matters. Mr. Shaw received his JD degree from the George Washington University Law School and his undergraduate engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
