Sourav Kundu, Ph.D.   |   Senior Vice President, Development & Manufacturing

Dr. Kundu has over 25 years of process/product development and manufacturing experience for biologics. Dr. Kundu joined NextCure in 2021 to lead the process and analytical development groups and to build NextCure’s current and future manufacturing capabilities in support of its growing pipeline. Immediately prior to his appointment at NextCure, Dr. Kundu was a Vice-President of Biologics R&D – CMC at Teva Pharmaceuticals where he was integral to the development and commercialization of Teva’s monoclonal antibody products and its biologics pipeline. Dr. Kundu also held positions of increasing responsibilities at Amgen, CSL Behring, and Baxter Diagnostics (now Siemens). He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University and received post-doctoral training at the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He has authored a number of publications and book chapters and received several patents for his inventions.
